Thu 3 Poetry reading - John Agard and Grace Nichols John Agard's satirical swipes at life in Great Britain both cherish and challenge our peculiar culture and its hallowed institutions. In recent work he has turned his twinkling eye to Darwin and his theories of evolution. John Agard's poetry is direct, political, hilarious and life affirming, says the Wordsworth Trust.
